Sparks is a new literary journal that seeks to publish short stories, flash fiction and poetry that ‘spark’ the imagination, with no restriction on type or genre.

They plan to publish bi-annually. All issues are either named Bealtaine or Samhain to reflect the Gaelic festivals taking place during our publication months, but also to harken back to the ancient traditions of storytelling associated with these festivals.
